This cross steer rack & pinion was adapted from the 1928-34
cross steer rack & pinion design. It uses the same rack with a slower
ratio to ease steering effort and comes with a different bracket that bolts
to the frame on the driver’s side rail using the factory rivet holes.
Note: works only with a stock or 2” drop axle. If using a wish-bone
type suspension, the wish bones must be split at least around the transmission. |
