Privacy Policy

First Time Customers - All first time customers paying by credit card must have their first order shipped to the billing address of the credit card. Future orders may be shipped to a separate address provided the first shipment has been received at the billing address..

Ordering Information - Please make certain you are ordering the correct parts you need. A 20% restocking charge applies to all returned parts ordered incorrectly. Restocking fee may be waived if return is accompanied by a new order with a value of $25.00 more than the returned order. No installed part will be accepted for return. Absolutely no electrical parts are refundable exchange only. No C.O.D. return orders will be accepted by CPP. Please call, write or fax if you wish to return misordered items.

Internet Ordering Information - For your protection, all orders that are submitted to us through our website are subjected to a thorough verification procedure before shipping. Often, this process includes contacting you by email to confirm your order and delivery information. Please be sure to include an email address so that we can contact you if necessary.

Shipping Address - If the address to which your order is being shipped differs from your billing address (the address to which your monthly credit card statement is sent), please use the toll-free number on the front or back of your card to contact your credit card company and create an "Alternate Shipping Address", which is simply a note on your account authorizing purchases that are delivered to a destination other than your billing address. Failure to do so may considerably delay the processing of your order.

Pricing, Terms, Conditions - CPP reserves the right to change all prices, terms, specifications and other information without notice. Please call or write us if you have any questions or you feel there is a discrepancy.

Guarantee/Warranty - All our units are guaranteed for 1 year from date of purchase, to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee is void in the event of misuse, neglect, improper installation or misdiagnosis. Absolutely, no electrical parts are refundable. We reserve the right to exchange any electrical item after it is returned to us and inspected by us. No C.O.D. return orders will be accepted by CPP Any suspected defective item must be authorized prior to return and shipping must be prepaid by customer.

Returns - All returns MUST have an Return Merchandise Authorization # written clearly on the outside of the box. Returns sent to CPP without an RMA # clearly written on the outside of the box will be refused. Return merchandise found not to be defective is subject to return to the customer and refund denied. Please contact your customer service representative if you have any questions or need an RMA number for return.

Payment - We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards, Money Orders, Certified Funds. Personal and company checks accepted for mail order orders only. Orders paid by credit card or certified funds will be shipped immediately, checks or money orders may be held 10-20 business days pending check clearance before shipping. There will be a $25.00 service charge on any returned checks. Stop payment will constitute legal action and/or collection. Orders may also be shipped C.O.D. and paid by Certified Check at the time of delivery. Refused or undeliverable C.O.D. orders will result in prepayment on all future orders and may result in billing customer for freight both ways.

Shipping - We use United Parcel Service (UPS) in most cases. United Parcel Service will not ship to a Post Office Box. Shipping and handling rates must be included on all prepay orders to avoid additional C.O.D. charges. A current C.O.D. charge will be added per box or per shipment

Damage/Shipping Claims - Make certain you inspect all packages in the presence of the driver/carrier. If you receive a package that has been damaged or opened, make a claim with the driver/carrier at that time. All claims of loss, concealed damaged, damage or other destruction must be made by you with the carrier. Save all boxes and packing materials as the carrier may want to inspect it. We apologize for this inconvenience - but this is a UPS shipping policy. Any shortages not the fault of the carrier must be reported within 5 days of receiving order. No exceptions allowed.

Back Orders - Listings in the catalog do not imply availability Always include your daytime telephone number with your address to prevent delays in your order. If items are out of stock when you place your order, we will file your order in a special back order file, which is reviewed on a daily basis. We will ship as soon as possible unless you specify otherwise.

Product Changes - CPP reserves the right to make changes and improvements in our products without incurring any liability to include these in any products previously manufactured or sold.

Core Charges/Deposits - The purpose of a core deposit / charge is to insure the return of rebuildable parts. Your deposit will be promptly refunded when we receive your complete, rebuildable core. A copy of your original purchase invoice must accompany your core. No refund will be issued for damaged, broken, disassembled or incomplete cores. No exceptions will be allowed. All cores must be prepaid by customer and returned within 30 days of purchase and must have a Return Merchandise Authorization # written clearly on the outside of the box see above to obtain full core value. Cores not returned within 30 days will receive only one half (1/2) of core value. Unless cores are returned within a timely fashion, other customers will have to wait. Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated.

Sales Tax - California residents must include 7.75% State Sales Tax. If you are an automotive parts business and/or you have a tax number, please include it on a tax card with your order.

Liability - The seller, CPP, hereby expressly disclaims all warranties, either expressed or implied warranty or merchant ability of fitness for a purpose, and CPP neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any liability in connection with the sale of this merchandise. CPP will be responsible only for "the products sold by us." Sellers and manufacturers only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of the product proved to be defective by CPP. Neither seller or manufacturer shall be liable for any loss, injury or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use of, or the inability of product. After use, the user shall assume all risk and liability whatsoever in connection thereof.
