| CPP carries a host of power steering boxes and even a couple
of manual boxes and rack & pinions! Our 500 Series™ is late model
steering technology with a 14:1 ratio and all NEW components. These boxes
bolt directly to your frame without any need for additional brackets or
adapters. CPP 400 Series™ are a compact design power steering box that
is an easy bolt on alternative to rack & pinion systems or the traditional
Toyota box conversion for classic trucks. We also carry Delphi 600 series
boxes that are remanufactured to specific applications and are available
in 12.7:1 and 14:1 ratios depending on the application. Ford car applications
have a 16:1 ratio and are also remanufactured units. Original replacement
power steering boxes are available in standard and quick ratios. Notes:
#CP50003 and #CP50003-C may require the use of notched radiator, see page
162. 500 Series ™ use a 3/4"-30 coupler. 400 Series™ use
3/4"-30 coupler. Delphi 600 Series boxes use 18mm DD coupler. Ford
car box uses 11/16"-36 coupler. Vega box uses 5/8"-36 coupler.
525 box uses 3/4"-30 coupler. Power rack & pinion uses a 3/4"-36
coupler and manual rack uses a 9/16"-36 coupler. OE power boxes use
13/16"-36 coupler. All power boxes use inverted flare hoses. Vega box
is not recommended for vehicles over 2200lbs. |
