The front upper control arms are preassembled on new billet
chromolly 4130 cross shafts and pivot sleeves. CPP is leading the industry
with billet cross shaft and pivot sleeves that captures both sides of the
bushing, unlike the originals that were only retained on the 1 side of the
bushing under the head of the bolt. As a result of the fully contained bushings,
the arms are even stronger. On the lower arm, the shock mount is incorporated
into the stamped coil plate. This stamping is welded around its entire perimeter
to 1-1/2 120 wall DOM tubing that makes up the back bone of the control
arms. The pivot barrels are made from rugged 1-1/2 188 wall DOM tubing.
The 1 1/8 front and 1 rear sway bars play an important role
in providing your car with the great handling youre after. They reduce
body roll and help to reduce over and under steer. Combined with a lowered
stance and performance enhancements of either the lowered coil springs and
gas shock combo or the adjustable coil over package, make the stage I and
II kits great on their own. When adding the award winning MCPV-1 master
cylinder; which is fully adjustable and incorporates the proportioning and
metering functions into an attractive light weight aluminum package, along
with a front and rear 11 or 13 brake kit, you have a tried and true
pro-touring package in the stage III and stage IV kits. These parts have
been proven to work together to give the ultimate performance for an affordable
price in a one part number kit. Add a 500 Series steering box to get
even more steering performance out of your classic muscle. |
