Our mono leaf springs meet or exceed multi-leaf specifications,
are only 3/4" thick, and will lower ride height. They fit into the
original shackles, are easy to install, and the kits come with bushings
and U-bolts. Available in standard or reversed eye. Sold in pairs. New pins
and shackles not included. NOTE: When installing a late model rear end into
a 1947-53 chassis, our 1954-55 mono springs work best in centering the rear
axle assembly between your wheelwells.
Please note: |
All standard eye
rear springs are a 4 lowering spring. |
All reversed eye
springs are a 6 lowering spring. |
These dimension
are compared to the original showroom height and do not necessarily apply
to the height the truck is now, springs settle over time. The condition
of your old springs will effect the final results. |
The reversed eye
rear spring is too low for a truck using a straight front axle, unless truck
uses a dropped front axle and a lowering spring in front. It is designed
to be used with a front sub frame using a drop spindle. |
